The Metropolitan Planning Organization of Johnson County (MPOJC) is requesting public input on an amendment to the “FY2018-21 Transportation Improvement Program” (TIP) for the Iowa City Urbanized Area. The TIP is the programming document for all surface transportation and transit projects that receive state or federal funds, including: street & highway, transit, rail, bicycle, and pedestrian projects in the Iowa City urbanized area.
The public meeting will be held on September 20, 2017 at 4:30 p.m. in the Iowa City Council Chambers, Iowa City City Hall, 410 East Washington Street, Iowa City, Iowa. Amendments include:
- Amend the FY2018-2021 TIP to change the City of Coralville’s 1st Avenue reconstruction project description to “1st Avenue from 9th Street to approximately 400 feet south of 6th Street; and 6th Street from approximately 300 feet west of 1st Avenue to approximately 200 feet east of 1st Avenue."
