The Metropolitan Planning Organization of Johnson County will be holding a public hearing on an amendment to the “FY2022-2025 Transportation Improvement Program” (TIP) for the Iowa City Urbanized Area. The TIP is the programming document for all surface transportation and transit projects that receive state or federal funds, including: street & highway, transit, rail, bicycle, and pedestrian projects in the Iowa City urbanized area.
The public hearing will be held on July 13th, 2022 at 4:30 pm in the Coralville City Hall Council Chambers, 1512 7th Street, Coralville, IA 52241.
Amend the FY2022-2025 TIP to change a project funding amount/year:
Current project funding amount/year for the I-80: 1st Avenue Interchange in Coralville Iowa.
FY2023: $22,685,000 Total
FY2023: $20,416,500 Federal Aid
New project funding amount/year for the I-80: 1st Avenue Interchange in Coralville Iowa.
FY2022: $32,225,360 Total
FY2022: $25,785,360 Federal Aid
